Volleyball TV Schedule Revealed

The Big 12 Conference, along with ESPN and FOX Sports, announced the 2019 volleyball season telecast schedule.

Eleven matches are scheduled to be broadcast by the league’s television rights holders, including eight matches on ESPNU, two on FOX Sports Networks and one on FS1. Ten of the 11 matches will feature Big 12 league play, while one non-conference contest will be featured on FS1.

Each of the nine Big 12 institutions will play in at least one match on ESPNU.

FOX Sports selected a total of three matches to broadcast throughout the 2019 season, with two matches set for FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN) and one on FS1.

The first match to be aired by either network is set to take place on Wednesday, September 4, as defending Big 12 regular-season champions and 2019 preseason poll No. 1, Texas, gets set to host Minnesota on FS1 at 7 p.m. CT.

Conference play is set to take place on Wednesday, September 25, with a back-to-back on ESPNU starting at 6 p.m. CT as West Virginia takes on Texas Tech in Lubbock, followed by an 8 p.m. CT start for TCU at Oklahoma.

The 2019 season series between the Bears and the Cyclones will be televised, beginning with BU at ISU on Wednesday, October 9, at 8 p.m. CT and capped off by the return leg featuring ISU at BU on Sunday, November 3, at 4 p.m. CT.

The FOX Sports GO App will feature both the FSN matches, while the FOX Sports app will host the FS1 match. All eight matches on ESPNU will be available via the ESPN app.
