Each week, TeamUSA.org recaps the performances of U.S. athletes through photos, showing where in the world Team USA athletes competed and how they performed. During the week of May 28-June 3, American tennis stars continued to impress at the French Open with Madison Keys and Serena Williams among those advancing, track and field standouts Ronnie Baker and Sam Kendricks were among those victorious at the Diamond League in Rome, the men’s rugby team was in action at the penultimate World Rugby Sevens Series tournament in London, women’s saber fencers took to the piste for the season’s final world cup in Tunisia, beach volleyball players Trevor Crabb and John Mayer struck gold at the two-star World Tour in China, Para swimmers raced to honor former coach Jimi Flowers at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, and two women’s teams had winning weeks with the water polo team winning the World League Super Final and the indoor volleyball team going 3-0 in Nations League play in Bangkok.
