The North Texas Region Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Steve Carrera has accepted the offer to become the Executive Director of the North Texas Region of USA Volleyball.

Steve has been a part of the region for over 20 years as a player, coach, club director, club owner and parent of volleyball players. After the retirement of Donise King in December Steve has been serving as the Interim Executive Director. Steve has served on the Region Board of Directors as the VP of Ethics and Eligibility and on The Junior Board as VP of Budget and Finance. For his service to the region and to USA Volleyball, Steve was presented the 2016 Robert L. Lindsey Meritorious Service Award for providing outstanding contributions to the sport of volleyball.

Steve has stepped down from all Region Board assignments and has left his club affiliation as of April 1st to better serve the region in his new role.
